Personal profile
Andrea Fabiánová specializes in geomorphology (especially dendrogeomorphology) with a focus on natural hazards (landslides, debrisflows, rockfall, floods). She is currently interested in the limits of dendrogeomorphological dating and tree growth. Andrea started her career at the University of Ostrava (Physical Geography and Geoecology), where she is finishing her PhD in the laboratory of dendrogeomorphology. At the Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem, she aims to apply her knowledge to new study sites and thus contribute to the understanding of the region in the context of recent relief evolution.
