Lukáš Vaverka

Lukáš Vaverka completed his bachelor and master studies at the Department of Physical Geography and Geoecology of the University of Ostrava. He is currently completing his PhD at the same place, where he is studying the morphology of confluence hydrodynamic zones. After arriving on the other side of the country, he started working as an assistant professor at the Department of Geography at the Faculty of Science of the J. E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem from the academic year 2023/2024. His main interests are fluvial geomorphology, physical geography and the use of geographic information systems.
